Been coming here for years. Always solid no matter what the meal. Even if there's a wait, it moves. Sit on the left side, better lighting than the right. Outside is perfect in the warm weather.

Food is hit or miss. Service is good. Ambience depends on when you go sometimes a little rushed.

Brunch anyone? Better come prepared to wait but not long. The place is super busy. Server seated us, we looked at the menu and ordered. I have the Mew Diner waffle. Was pretty good. I shouldve asked for honey. I ordered the french 75 and was disappointed. Not at all what i was expecting and im a French 75 snob. The place is loud but definitely comfortable to talk amongst one another. Super casual. I can see myself coming back for a quick bite. Definitely trying something new on their extensive menu.

Still a nice spot to have a sandwich for lunch or dinner meal. Attentive staff. Chicken salad on multi grain and sweet potato fries hit the spot.

Delicious food + excellent service = Gracie Mews Diner! It is truly a great neighborhood restaurant. We have been going there for over 30 years. The large indoor dining room and large outdoor seating offers ample space so you never feel crowded. Ivan, the manager, is always so friendly and kind. It's a great spot for a weekend brunch. I highly recommend it for casual dining anytime.

This place is still undisputed, HIGH QUALITY food you can find on 1st ave. Old school NY family staff vibe in a very modern and upscale decor setting too good to be called a diner. Packed on weekends for good brunch vibes with beautiful people. My fav thing to get is the Gracie waffle it's honestly the best waffle I've had in my life.

A cute diner, that wasn't too busy and got us our food quickly. I got banana buttermilk pancakes and they were good, but nothing to write home about. They do have a lot of vegetarian/vegan and gluten free options which is awesome!

We had been in the city for a Dr appt and wanted to grab lunch before we headed back to Westchester. The doorman of a nearby building recommended ut, asked if we liked good diner food , of course! We grabbed a table outside and we were greeted quickly. Our waiter took our drink order and returned quickly. I ordered the spinach pie with Greek salad and my husband ordered a chicken salad sandwich with french fries. We both ordered off the lunch specials menu. It was delicious and plentiful! We would definitely frequent this place if we lived in the area. You could tell they had plenty of regulars because so many were greeted as repeat customers!

I finally had my chance to come here for brunch this morning -- since it's always packed on weekends. For a Thursday morning it was still pretty busy, but we got sat quickly and with great service. I can also see why this place is a UES staple, as its some of the best diner food I have encountered up here.
